At-Home Hospice & Euthansia Makes a Difference
Deciding it’s time to turn to either palliative (hospice) care or euthanasia is a huge decision that can also be full of anxiety and fear — for both you and your pet. With in-home hospice and/or euthanasia, most of that fear and anxiety can be eliminated. Your pet can remain in their familiar home surrounded by their beloved human family members.
In-Home Veterinary Hospice
The initial hospice consult visit is all about determining the comfort and well being of your beloved pet. Dr. Kennedy will do a physical exam and address any immediate issues; then she will sit with the family, as a team, to discuss how things are going.
In-Home Veterinary Euthanasia
This is one of the hardest decisions you will make in your pet’s life. Allowing your pet to experience the transition smoothly and peacefully in their own home can make a big difference- and not just for the pet.
Peaceful Shores Service Area
Peaceful Shores Veterinary Hospice serves the Wareham, and southern Plymouth County and Upper Cape Cod areas.

I can never express my gratitude enough for all Dr. Kennedy did for my family. What was a heartbreaking situation was made easier and comforting. She came to our home, spent some time with us and explained everything that was going to happen. Her manner, humanity, and clarity made my family and pet comfortable and ready to say goodbye.
